The Personal Touch
You've Been Seeking

Over the years, I’ve come to understand that this work is about far more than hair.
It’s about trust. It’s about showing up for someone, consistently, through the seasons of their life. It’s about the quiet moments in the chair—conversations, laughter, sometimes even silence—and the relationship that builds over time.
Many of my clients have been with me for decades. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know not just their hair, but who they are—their lives, their milestones, and the small details that matter.
That same care extends beyond the salon as well. I’ve had the honor of volunteering backstage at Cancer Pathways’ Surviving with Style gala, styling hair for survivors—many in different stages of regrowth, strength, and healing.
Those experiences, and the relationships I build over time, are something I hold with a great deal of respect and gratitude.
My commitment has always been simple: to listen, to care, and to do work that helps people feel like the best version of themselves—naturally, confidently, and without pretense.
This isn’t just what I do—it’s something I value deeply.

Treatments and Color Techniques

Lorenzo Sumera (Owner)
Lorenzo Sumera began his career over 35+ years ago in Dallas, Texas, where his passion for hair and color first took shape. That passion has since taken him across the U.S. and internationally—from teaching nationwide as a Framesi Color Educator, to working alongside award-winning celebrity stylist Trevor Sorbie, to performing as part of the first U.S. team selected for Framesi’s World Congress in Italy.
His career spans both artistry and leadership. Lorenzo spent more than a decade as Hair Color Director for a leading Seattle salon of over 150 stylists, and as Director of Color Education for its academy, where he mentored artists, shaped curriculum, and upheld the highest technical standards in color and hair health.
Drawing inspiration from global travel, fashion, and culture, Lorenzo brings a refined, individualized approach to every client. His work blends artistry with science—grounded in European color education, modern technique, and a deep respect for the integrity of the hair.
Now working independently as the founder of Lorenzo Studio, a private suite in Seattle, he offers a calm, elevated environment where each appointment is personal, unrushed, and highly customized.
